About Women's Ministry
The ministry focuses primarily on growing in God's word and building a more intimate relationship with Jesus through Bible Study. In addition to Bible Study, events are held throughout the year to introduce others to the ministry and to build fellowship among the women of Antioch. Service projects are also an important component of the ministry. In addition to these activities, there are several "Girls' Night Out" activities sprinkled throughout the year to build fellowship and friendships among the church.

"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they will train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." Titus 2:3-5

Happy New Year, Friends! The New Year is a time for reflecting on the past days and months and looking forward to the coming year with resolutions for change. 365 days have passed, and what did we do with them? Are we satisfied with the way we used our time? Will we use the next 365 days differently?
In The Cure for the Common Life Max Lucado says, “With God, every day matters, every person counts. And that includes you. You do something no one else does, in a manner no one else does it. And when your uniqueness meets God’s purpose, both of you will rejoice.”
Our hope for you in 2012 is that you will see your uniqueness and feel God’s love for you - feel how special you are to Him. Let each new day be a discovery of God’s love!
