Moving Forward by Faith
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Five years ago Antioch Christian Church embarked on a capital campaign to raise funds for a new building. The goal of that campaign was realized when the first worship services were held in the new building the weekend of December 3 & 4, 2005. Now God is calling on Antioch Christian Church again.
Throughout our history at Antioch, our growth, both in spirit and in numbers, has brought us again and again to realize the Lord's presence in our midst. Each time Antioch has reached a crossroad, our congregation has stepped forward in faith to further the ministries and mission of Antioch. Now we're being asked to step forward again, to continue Moving Forward by Faith.
On the surface, Moving Forward by Faith may simply seem like an effort to retire debt; but it is much more than that. Moving Forward by Faith is an opportunity for Antioch to free up resources so that we can touch more lives through our ministries.
Think of the additional ways Antioch will be able to impact people's lives and their spiritual growth. This campaign will allow Antioch to continue to reach out to our community and to increase the ministries that are an essential part of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
As you hear more about Moving Forward by Faith, I would challenge you to pray about your involvement. Ask the question, "God, what would you have me do?" read His Word, count your blessings, and spend time discerning what God would have you do as a part of Moving Forward by Faith.
As a community of faith, we have already stepped out in faith and accepted the gift that Christ has offered each and every one of us. Now I'm asking you to pray about what God would have you do in order to glorify Him and grow His Kingdom.
